Wigwam

Wigwam has knit socks in Sheboygan, Wisconsin since 1905 and is still run by the fourth generation of the same family. A company that has kept a mill in one Wisconsin town for a hundred and twenty years has made its position on offshoring fairly clear.

One honest limit on this record: Wigwam states where the socks are knit, not where the yarn comes from. Several brands in this category are explicit that their yarn is imported, and Wigwam is not one of them — but it does not affirmatively claim domestic yarn either, and we have not confirmed it independently.
