Small Talk Studio is a New York clothing label run by Nick Williams and Phil Ayers. It started with hand-drawn custom garments and now also makes seasonal collections from a studio in Manhattan’s Garment District. The brand says it makes “most everything in New York”, and product pages mark each piece as made in New York or Los Angeles. Highsnobiety and Hypebeast both describe the label’s production with Garment District factories and local finishing vendors.
It is a split line. The hand-embroidered track jackets, in three colourways, are made in India and sold under the Small Talk name alongside the New York tailoring. That is why the brand’s mark here is the floor, and the New York and Los Angeles pieces are carried below with their own marks and their own quoted origin lines.
