Round House has made workwear in Shawnee, Oklahoma, since 1903, when the town was a railroad hub and the “round house” repair station gave the overalls their name. It calls itself Oklahoma’s oldest manufacturer, and NBC News used the same description in 2025. The family that runs it has done so for more than sixty years. The factory cuts and sews jeans and bib overalls from denim made of American cotton, about a thousand pairs a day.

There are two Round Houses, and the company says so plainly. What it sells on its own website is sewn in Shawnee. Round House overalls in stores and on other websites are sewn abroad; the company told NBC News that its imported jeans are sewn in Bangladesh and that their higher margins keep the Oklahoma factory running. Even the brand’s own site lists a few “Not Sewn in USA” styles, which send the buyer to a separate outlet store. So the brand-level mark here is the floor, and the US-sewn garments are recorded individually below.

On those, the cotton is American by the brand’s account, and the cutting and sewing happen in Shawnee. What nobody states is where the denim is woven. Until that is known, the Shawnee garments carry the second mark. If you want the American-sewn version, buy from round-house.com and check that the product title doesn’t say “Non-USA”.
