Rough Draft is a small outdoor-and-city clothing label founded by Timothy Clark. Its info page says the team works remotely, but nearly every garment in the shop is labelled as cut and sewn in New York City, with a tote made in Chicago and a heavyweight shirt made in Los Angeles. In a 2025 Hypebeast interview, Clark said the brand has its things made in NYC to stay hands-on with production.
The same interview says about nine in ten of the brand’s fabrics come from Japan, and the product pages list Japanese wools, cottons and blends. That makes this domestic sewing of mostly imported cloth, which is the second mark. A few items, such as the Forager Pant, do not say where they are made.
