Malco Products has built HVAC and sheet-metal hand tools in Annandale, Minnesota since 1950, and it still says so: the about page names the plant, and the tools it makes there carry “made in the USA” on their own product pages.
It is a split line. Malco also sells tools under its own name that are made abroad — it used to say so itself, in a paragraph explaining that it lacks the in-house capability for those products and has them built by international partners instead. So the brand’s mark here is the floor, and the Annandale tools are carried below as per-product overrides with the origin line from each page quoted.
One thing changed while this record was being re-checked, and it is worth stating plainly. That paragraph is no longer on malcotools.com. The About Us page was rewritten some time between a Wayback capture of 20 May 2026 and 20 September 2026, and the rewrite dropped the American manufacturing section whole: the “Made in the USA” label promise, the sentence about products made outside the United States, and the FAQ that answered why. The imports are not said to have stopped. Only the sentence that told a buyer about them is gone, which makes the product page the only place left to look.
