Duke Cannon sells big rectangular bars of soap out of Minneapolis on a military-surplus theme, and says the soap comes from the plant that used to supply the armed forces: “produced today in the same U.S. based, family-owned plant that was the primary supplier to the military during that era.”

That is a real claim about a real place, and it is the only one the company makes. The plant is not named, its state is not given, and nothing we could find outside the company’s own pages identifies it. A soap made in an unnamed American plant is a plausible soap made in America; it is not a checkable one, so this sits at the fourth mark alongside the others we could not corroborate.

The claim is also narrower than the catalogue. It covers the Big Ass Brick of Soap and its descendants. Duke Cannon now sells cologne, hair product, beard oil and grooming tools, and the military-heritage page says nothing about any of them.

Naming the plant would move this record the same day. So would a line-by-line origin table for the rest of the range.
