For some of its products, particularly its cotton basics collection, the brand also sources US-grown cotton, with supply chains traced through Carolinas mills and suppliers (Parkdale Mills, Clover Knits, Carolina Cotton Works, Eagle Sportswear). This dedication to documentation is rare in apparel.

The assembled-in-usa mark reflects that while American Giant’s sewing is domestic, US materials are not established brand-wide — the cotton claim applies to “some of our products,” not the full catalogue. The brand does not claim universal US-sourced inputs, which is why the honest brand-level tier is assembled-in-usa. On its dedicated cotton collection, the traceability is exceptional; for other items, material sourcing may differ.

That shortfall is material, not goods, and it was checked before this record was left where it is.
